What is Time To Pet?
Time To Pet is a pet business software that keeps all of our lives nicely organized! It is where you will fill in your personal and pet details, send in your booking requests, and pay your invoices. All from one convenient place!
Even if you're not tech savvy, all will be explained during our complimentary meet and greet. It's very easy!
You can use either the web browser version or the app (we recommend the app!).

What are your business hours?
Starting May 1st, 2026, our walking hours are Monday through Friday, between 8am and 8pm. We will not be open on the weekends except for cat services. We are open on holidays and have an additional fee of $10 for services booked on those days. We are closed for around 7-10 days around Christmas time (dates vary each year).
Our admin hours (for processing booking requests and responding to messages) are Monday through Friday, between 8am and 4pm. If you contact us outside of these hours, we will respond as soon as we open the next business day.
What if I need a last minute service?
You can send in a request for tomorrow as long as you do it by 10am today.
If you have missed the cut off time for a last minute service, please send us a message and we may be able to fit you in.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that things happen and cancellations can occur!
Please give us more than 24 hours notice to avoid late cancellation fees.
Within 24 hours notice: $10 fee
Cancellation during transit to your home, or upon arrival: Full price charge
Please ensure that your batteries are fully charged for keyless entry. You can always hide a spare key as a back up. If we cannot gain access to your home, it will result in the full price charge.
Why don't I have the same walker every time?
We work as a supportive team, so you may not always see the same walker each visit. Every member is carefully chosen, experienced, and trusted with your pet’s care. This approach ensures that if someone is sick, away on holiday, or unavailable, another capable walker can step in so your dog’s routine is never interrupted.
My dog pulls on leash. Are you able to still walk them?
We are happy to come and walk your dog to see how manageable the pulling is. We may suggest other tools to help reduce pulling, though it is only a band aid solution if training is required.
With that said, our walkers are not trainers. We need to ensure the safety of the team and ergonomic injuries can be common with dogs who pull. We may suggest that you look into training before we are able to continue walking your dog.
Please reach out if this is a concern for you! We are happy to discuss.
What is your weather policy?
We may modify services during weather such as thunderstorms, extreme heat and cold, and days where the air index is poor because of wildfire smoke.
During your service, your walker will determine a safe amount of time to be outside with your dog and the remainder of time will be spent indoors playing/giving TLC.
If you would like to cancel or change a service to a shorter time, please let us know.
During extreme cold temperatures (-25 to -35 with the wind chill), our park trips are adjusted to 40 minutes in length and we do take a warm up break in the vehicle. If temperatures reach -35 or colder with the wind chill, park trips are changed to 20 minute let outs.
Safety for your dogs and for our walkers is our number one concern when determining how to handle bad weather. We appreciate your understanding.
Can you put a coat and boots on my dog during the winter?
Absolutely. We find that dogs can last longer outside during the very cold days if they are wearing boots and a coat! Please have both near the front door for our walkers to find.
We do not put boots on dogs for the Off Leash Dog Park service, as more often than not the boots fall off in snow banks and are lost until spring.
How do I know if my dog is a good fit for the off leash park?
We always introduce new dogs to the park with our Dog Park Trial service. It's 40 minutes in length and is one on one with a walker. We will observe how they interact with other dogs at the park, and will determine whether they are dog social, dog tolerant, or not suitable to join our packs.
Dog social dogs are happy to meet and socialize with the other dogs, and they engage in appropriate play.
Dog tolerant dogs are happy to do their own thing, and are not bothered by being approached/smelled by other dogs.
If your dog is selective and chooses to get along with only some, or if they have shown signs of aggression, they are not a good fit to join our park packs and we will be happy to walk them privately!
What if my dog is really nervous around new people?
We do need your dog to be comfortable with new faces coming into the home in order for us to provide services.
If your dog is terrified and avoids us, runs away, shows hackles, growls and/or barks excessively in combination with these things then we will unfortunately have to decline services.
